Simon is a director of Personal Audio. He initiated his research in virtual space and 3D audio at Oxford University in the 1980s and has a 25 year track record which has resulted in more than 85 refereed papers, chapters and a book "The Development and Applications of Virtual Auditory Space" which is a foundation monograph in the field. Between 1998 and 2003, Simon was also Chief Information Officer at the University of Sydney (>200 personnel and annual budget of >$25 million) with responsibility for the implementation and management of strategic Enterprise Planning Resource systems throughout the University.

Jonathon is one of the directors of Personal Audio Pty Ltd. During the early part of his career he was responsible for the growth and development of products and services for high transaction gaming services in Australian and US based casinos, this business included both hardware and software product development. Following the success of this business he directed the development of one of Sydney's first web site and ecommerce development firms, this company grew to a 50+ FTE consulting and product development firm throughout the mid to late 90s and was successfully sold to an international firm in early 2000. Jonathon has demonstrable experience as CEO in early stage commercialisation, management, and research he has grown businesses by either boot strapping or obtaining VC for growth plans. His experience is in balancing and incorporating the competing needs of inventors, founders, management and investors and providing clear strategic direction. His focus is on developing achievable milestones to success and exit.
Jonathon holds a B. Bus from UTS and is regularly asked to contribute at conferences and seminars on commercialisation and IP Management.
